Moment, cofounded by the late Nobel Prize laureate Elie Wiesel, is based in Northwest DC. Moment Editor-in-chief and CEO Nadine Epstein, in conversation with Northwest Village’s Gene Sofer, will discuss the critical need for independent journalism, Moment’s work, and other topics including Epstein’s friendship and work with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg; Moment's "Wide River Project" which offers new perspectives into issues that both unite and divide the Black and Jewish communities; Moment's Wisdom Project featuring life lessons from nonagenarians; and opportunities to participate in the Moment community.
Nadine Epstein is an award-winning journalist and editor-in-chief and CEO of Moment, which is home to The Antisemitism Monitor. She’s also the co-founder of the Moment Institute Middle East Fellows (MIMEF). Recognized as an expert on antisemitism and international affairs, Epstein has been interviewed by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, All Things Considered, and Al-Jazeera, among other media outlets, and speaks about antisemitism to audiences worldwide. Her books include RBG's Brave & Brilliant Women: 33 Jewish Women to Inspire Everyone, a collaboration with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elie Wiesel, An Extraordinary Life and Legacy; Writings, Photographs and Reflections.
